June was spent wrapping up school and shifting into summer mode. Well sort of. Around our house, that meant welcoming the kids home from school, saying "happy summer" and then turning them right around to go to camp. Both boys did 4 weeks of camp at their respective schools which kept them nice and busy (and out of my hair) for most of the month.
We spent almost every weekend in June and the 4th of July up at Bryce and have really been enjoying our newly renovated space. Swimming, sailing, paddle boarding, and watching movies fill our time up there and it's so nice to be able to get away from the heat in the city. My parents came for a short visit in June as well and we were able to get them up to the cabin for a night to partake in some of the fun.
Most of my focus was spent on trying to get as much done in regards to our new home build before we left for a month plus away. The house is coming along nicely - our move in date is looking like January 1st 2017. Fingers crossed!
Some pics below of the early summer fun - a post on Cape Cod coming up soon!
